Do I need a CV (resumé)?
A well presented piece of paper with basic information about you and your contact details (address, mobile telephone, email etc), your education and any work experience can be very helpful if you are going for interviews or looking for work. This does not need to be a complicated document but needs to have the key information about you displayed clearly.
Tip: it is not essential to have a CV. If you do produce one keep it as simple as possible.

Do I need a mobile phone?
It is better to have a UK mobile phone. You can purchase a 'pay-as-you-go' phone from many shops for around £20, or a SIM card to put in an exisiting phone for £5-£10.
Tip: there is no point giving a non-UK mobile phone number as no one will call you on this.
