Do not be discouraged
There is also a large element of chance in finding a job. You may be 'lucky' and find a job in a few hours or spend several days/weeks searching. If your attitude shows that you do not believe you will ever find a job this is quickly communicated to the potential employer who will be less likely to offer you a job.
